Considering what the tabernacle's
symbolism has shown us thus far,
you would think the Jewish people would be excited to see all this, wouldn't
you?
That is far from the case however.
The vast majority of Jewish people are unable
to see that Y'shua / Jesus is the fulfillment of the tabernacle's symbolism.
To this day, most deny that he is the fulfillment of God's promise to Abraham.
One of the more popular reasons for denying Jesus, has to do with the fact that Israel's 'Deliverer' has long been expected to usher in the 'kingdom of peace'. 78
When the name of Jesus comes up,
many Jewish people will quickly dismiss him by saying something like,
"Look around you at the world... Do you see world peace? Well, obviously
then, Jesus was not the Messiah".
Sadly, these people have missed
one of the tabernacle's most obvious points...
As seen earlier ---

Or more accurately, 'kingdoms' ---

And as the tabernacle's symbolism has repeatedly emphasized, the 'physical kingdom' here on earth cannot be established until man is first granted possession of the 'spiritual kingdom' of 'restored (spiritual) relationship with God'.
Now, look at the following passage ---
Matthew 16:28 "Assuredly I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom". (Jesus speaking)
Here, just before going to his death, Jesus tells some of his followers that they will see "the Son of Man coming in His kingdom"...
So... Where
is this "kingdom" that Jesus referred
to?
Clearly, the people that Jesus spoke to later died, and
(as many Jewish folks are quick to point out today)
the 'kingdom' of 'world peace' certainly does not seem to have come.
So... what, if any, "kingdom"
did those people ever see?
The answer is that those people saw the establishment of ---

Through his death & resurrection, Y'shua
/ Jesus has brought 'peace' to the world in the most important sense --
By 'paying the price' for man's sin, he has reconciled man and God spiritually.
That is the 'kingdom of peace', and it has come...
And just as the tabernacle's symbolism
has always indicated,
that spiritual kingdom of 'peace with God' had to come first...
It is only after the spiritual kingdom of 'peace with God' is established, that
Israel can then be established as ---

In other words ---
Y'shua (Jesus) comes first, as the
true 'Passover lamb', in order to provide the means of 'spiritual
separation' from sin
(thereby establishing both the 'spiritual kingdom' and the 'physical kingdom').
79
Later, he will come again as the
"Lion of Judah", at which time
he will enforce a 'physical separation'
(thus unifying and completing the two 'kingdoms', forming one 'kingdom of peace'
for all eternity). 80
In summary ---
Y'shua (Jesus) first establishes the spiritual 'kingdom of peace with God'...
And then... having restored "everlasting"
spiritual relationship with God,
the establishment of the physical kingdom of God here on earth is begun
(as the message of Y'shua's (Jesus') work spreads).
